WORLD BOOK DAY led by the Demon Headmaster

Pupil Voice

Our School Council known as ‘Pupil Voice’

Our ‘Pupil Voice’ gives all children the opportunity to oversee and make decisions about an area of their school. They decide on ways to make improvements through discussion, debate and a voting system. In doing so, each class learns about democracy.

Class representatives feedback their class’ ideas to our Head Teacher.  Each class also leads an assembly on their area in order to update the rest of the school about recent developments. This might include better ways to recycle paper within the school or how to improve the playground games. Elm Class carry out monitoring on behaviour around school and report back to staff and children.
